Located in the quiet suburb of Kearny, New Jersey, just outside Newark, our facility provides a safe haven in the heart of the tri-state area, easily accessible from New York City, Trenton and even Philadelphia. With parks, shops and employment opportunities within walking distance, Endeavor House North offers a convenient location for outpatient clients, and a peaceful environment for those at inpatient programs. Our residential treatment center features comfortable shared accommodations, a kitchen, a common room, and outdoor space, where clients are allowed to smoke.

Our Experienced Staff

Bethsaida Rivera
Bethsaida Rivera, MHS, LCADC, CCS
Executive Director

Bethsaida Rivera began working in substance abuse treatment as a counselor intern in 2006. After obtaining her certification in 2009, she joined the team at Endeavor House. Ms. Rivera went on to earn her master’s degree in human services and her LCADC while working at Serenity at Summit & CURA.

In 2019, Ms. Rivera returned to Endeavor House as Executive Director overseeing day-to-day operations and monitoring the organization's mission & overall effectiveness. Her dedication is exemplified daily in her care and passion for creating an environment that fosters the wellness of clients & staff alike. In her free time, Bethsaida provides in-home counseling through St. Claire’s social services, a gift she has been providing in the community since 2016. Ms. Rivera is a proud grandparent of three.

Jill Schlossberg
Jill Schlossberg, LPC, LCADC
Clinical Director

Boasting more than 13 years’ experience in the field of mental health & addiction, Jill Schlossberg holds the position of Clinical Director at Endeavor House North. Ms. Schlossberg received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Scranton prior to obtaining her Master’s Degree in Counseling at Montclair State University in 2010. She has since obtained her LPC and LCADC, and gained experience in a variety of treatment environments, including residential & correctional institutions.

Jill is a team player and passionate about integrating behavioral health while collaborating with professionals across disciplines. Her passion for a human-centric clinical approach helps her enthusiastically adapt to client needs and provide the best possible evidenced-cased care rooted in cultural competency. Jill has a special interest in helping individuals overcome their interpersonal and relationship struggles and “[believes] in the importance of social and family support in one’s life.”

Denise Pisaniello
Denise Pisaniello, RN
Director of Nursing

A uniquely dedicated professional, Denise Pisaniello brings over 10 years of nursing experience to her addiction treatment work at Endeavor House. Prior to her engagement as Director of Nursing, Ms. Pisaniello was a Charge Nurse at Straight and Narrow.

Her selfless passion for helping people with substance abuse issues is evident in every facet of her work and deeply supports the mission and vision of Endeavor House. Ms. Pisaniello states that her goal is “to be able to enrich the lives of all clients who come through our facility.”
