The newly recovering individual will continue to need support and guidance through the process of their recovery. Endeavor House offers outpatient treatment to embrace those clients that wish to do individual and group counseling work in order to promote positive personal growth activities that fill time once devoted to addiction. Outpatient clients have the opportunity to structure treatment programs around workday and participate in select relapse prevention groups and maintain individual treatment plans. This phase concentrates on relapse prevention and independent living as well as devoting time to creative therapies that help the client pursue new hobbies and plan experiences in their new lives.
Recreation Therapy
In coordination with a local health club, Endeavor House offers clients a unique opportunity for physical fitness. With the assistance of a trained instructor, a personalized program will be designed and maintained through several weekly visits. This promotes the client’s development of habits aimed towards enjoying the benefits of physical activity in a total program of recovery.
Relapse Prevention
These groups are designed to address the triggers that arise when clients begin the experiences of outside employment and sober independent living. A relapse prevention strategy is developed by each client to help handle those situations without using drugs and alcohol.
Alcoholics Anonymous / Narcotics Anonymous
Clients in this phase of treatment are required to attend AA/NA meetings and establish contacts and sponsorship. Transportation is available for those clients who request it. All clients are given assignments by their counselors using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of AA. Our philosophy is twelve step in tradition at every level of care.
