Endeavor House offers a confidential, professional and thorough admissions process.

• Pre-Screen: You will speak with an Intake Coordinator via phone to gain a full understanding of the Endeavor House programs and ask questions about entering treatment. During this time we will obtain client demographics and insurance information.
  
  
  • An Intake Coordinator is available 24 hours to speak with you and/or family members about admission.
    
    
  • Admission appointments are booked as early as same-day
    
    
  • Admissions can be processed in both Keyport and Kearny depending on availability.
    
    
  • Insurance coverage will be verified prior to your appointment and you will be contacted with the results.
    
    
• Assessment: You and your family members will arrive for a scheduled admission and meet with an Intake Counselor for an assessment. The Intake Counselor will complete a full interview with you and provide treatment recommendations.
  
  
  • Families will have the opportunity to meet with the
    Intake Counselor as well to offer any further information and ask questions.
    
    
  • If you are recommended for inpatient treatment, you
    will be admitted immediately following the assessment.
    
    
  • A drug screen and breathalyzer will be completed as a part of the assessment process.
    
    
• Authorization: The Intake Counselor will present treatment recommendation to your insurance company to obtain pre-certification for services with Endeavor House when appropriate. (See “Understanding Medical Necessity Section” for further understanding of insurance authorization process)
  
  
• Financial Counseling: You and your family will meet with a Financial Counselor to discuss insurance coverage and ask any questions regarding benefit coverage and any out of pocket expenses (if applicable).
  
  
• Admission: You will meet with an Intake Counselor to sign a Consent for Release for any family and privileged contacts you wish Endeavor House to offer treatment updates to and sign for voluntary admission.
  
  
  • If you are entering inpatient treatment, you will be immediately transported by Endeavor House staff to the appropriate Endeavor House facility.
    
    
  • If you are entering outpatient treatment, you will receive a treatment schedule and be assigned a counselor. Treatment will begin on the next scheduled program day.
